Match Report: U16 22/03/25

Burton Albion u16s 1-0 Leamington lions u16s

POM: Milly

PPOM: Jasmyn

Leamington started well passing the ball around well against a strong Burton team. Soaking up a lot of pressure tacking hard and defending well with an injury hit squad giving there all was unlucky to concede a goal after 25 minutes when a cross came in and hit a divit and spun in to the goal.

Leamington didn't give up and continued to fight hard and was unlucky when chris hit a lovely shot towards the left hand bottom corner only for there keeper to make a superb save pushing it around the post for a corner.

H-T 1-0

Second half continued the same way as the first. Leamington holding out passing the ball around and tackling hard and defending well to the end but couldn't find an equaliser.

The girls came off the pitch completely tired but can hold there heads up high taking it to top of the league Burton.
