Day didn't start well with the weather being wet and cold and the girls not used to playing on a 4g pitch started slow and going a goal behind in the 2nd minute after a wonderful free kick. Things didn't get much better and conceded 2 more quick goals to be3-0 down after only 10 minutes. Leamington continued to fight hard and battled hard but conceded a 4th just before half time
Halftime: 4-0
Second half started quickly and conceded a 5th goal 10 minutes into the half. Leamington kept battling and conceded 3 more goals in the half to an excellent Alvechurch side who had a number of county and players who play for premier league teams.
Leamington battled all through the game and it wasn't their day today.
