Early drive over to Bedworth for the girls, a team we have not played before. The team was set up with girls having to play out of positions due to injuries and illnesses.

It was a tough game as Bedworth took the ploy to (park the bus) which meant we had to try and push our way through. A very small amount of chances in the first half with both teams testing each other out. This ended 0-0.

After a positive chat at halftime the girls went out and pushed for the opener. Unfortunately as we pushed forward they managed to break and squeezed in the opening goal. That was really their last action going forward and we pushed and pushed for a leveller. We had a few chances most falling onto the wrong foot for the girls.

This plus a couple of good saves by their keeper kept the score 1-0 at FT.

Very difficult to get past their 2 lines of defence and still on another day the score line would have been different. Great attitude and application from all of the girls.
