Guys I’ll keep this short today and just say how proud I am of the girls performance. I actually think the first half was the best half of football we have been involved in in terms of two really good teams playing football. Just thinking about every girls development and confidence since September! Absolutely amazing!!

Second half we looked like we tired a bit before they did and they managed to sneak a goal and they then had the confidence then to finish a little stronger.

If I’m honest I actually preferred this performance to last week. Being really competitive in a game against a team from the league above really shows how far they have come as a group!!

I won’t do specific player mentions this week as I thought everyone played their part today and I will talk to the girls again at training on Wednesday about it more individually.

But of course I need to mention Anaiyah because you were fantastic from start to end today! You were amazing going forward on the wing linking up great with Ava & Lily in particular but then we felt we needed your extra pace in defence for a stint this week and you were brilliant!! Dealing with everything that came your way!!!! I really hope you enjoyed it still and you should be super proud as you were superb!!
