ABOUT the lions
Leamington Lions was founded in 1998 by Nick Buckle, a local teacher who, whilst training in Leamington, discovered that girls were actually interested in playing football but that there were few opportunities in the Leamington & Warwick area.

Nick decided to start a team, word spread and, before long, Leamington Lions was born.
Leamington Lions' mission is to offer all girls the chance to play football at the highest standard they can.
Whether it's non-competitive for those who want to give it a go for the very first time or as part of a dedicated team in the league. Leamington Lions is all about having loads of fun, developing skills and making great friendships.
